Square Enix and CNN Explore Human Augmentation in Deus Ex Documentary, Human By Design

The Deus Ex has long been known for its integration of technology and the future, with the upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided taking it a step further by exploring the world of human augmentation in the present day (and near future) in a new documentary feature.

Publisher Square Enix and CNN have teamed up for the production of “Human By Design,” a 30-minute documentary feature being presented by Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that looks to explore the real-life technology behind human augmentation.

Specifically, the documentary explores the ethics and implications of augmentation with a variety of medical experts appearing to provide their takes on transhumanism and bionics, with the documentary following 12 people undergoing procedures in new technology.

The documentary is being streamed exclusively through Amazon Video, which is available to view either for free to all users (with ads), or ad-free for Amazon Prime members.
