Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto recently tweeted a picture of himself (middle) with legendary Konami hero Hideo Kojima and Metal Gear Solid art director Yoji Shinkawa - who resembles Krillin from the Dragon Ball GT series - today. Anyone would be excited to stand side-by-side with two industry superstars, of course. Especially when they look that cool. Along with the tweeted picture, Hashimoto also noted (as per Andriasang's translation) that "A new promotion with Hideo Kojima is set. Details will be shared at a later date." What does this mean? It means there are far too many conclusions one can come to, so speculate all you want.

In the past, Kojima and Square Enix have collaborated on a set of Metal Gear Peace Walker figurines under Square Enix's Play Arts Kai line. A ton of ideas are up in the air, but it's probably having something to do with Peace Walker, or with Front Mission Evolved - a game being produced by Hashimoto - which might slide something Metal Gear-ish into the upcoming mech game. Only time will tell, folks. And when time does tell, expect to have news on it right here.
