Square Enix won't let Christmas pass them by--the company is releasing a Christmas album, titled X'mas Collections II music from SQUARE ENIX, which is full of arranged tracks from a variety of old titles, including Final Fantasy and SaGa Frontier II.

The composer of the album, Yuzo Koshiro, was recently interviewed concerning the new soundtrack. He discusses his difficulties with arranging tracks from these classic tracks, including from the "masterpiece" Final Fantasy series. Koshiro also went into how he maintained the simplicity of the original music while revamping it with a Christmas feel.

The interview revealed that Koshiro, interesting enough, used a clarinet for the main melody. Other instruments, such as the violin, flute and oboe, were also used in the album's arrangement. Check out the full tracklist posted below:
