Square Enix May Bring Bravely Default to the West, After All

on December 2, 2012 8:47 AM

In the past year of so we talked quite a lot about Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, but no word has come from Square Enix about a possible western localization. A bit of hope, though, may be in order.

Yesterday Fusible reported that the Japanese publisher has filed to trademark “All the Bravest” in the European union, and also registered the domains AllTheBravest.com and AllTheBravest.net.

While the title isn’t exactly the same, it’s quite similar and it definitely fits the theme of the game, so it may indicate that the 3DS game (or its free to play browser game sequel Bravely Default: Playing Brage) could be coming to the west with a changed name.

Obviously it’s too early to get our hopes up too much, as the title could indicate something entirely different, so we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation in order to rejoice.
