Square Enix revealed a new spin-off Final Fantasy mobile title in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine. Called Final Fantasy: World Wide Words, it’s the series’ first text-input battle RPG. You’ll fight enemies by quickly imputing words that appear on the screen, similar to Typing of the Dead.

Various characters from the Final Fantasy series will be making an appearance in the game. The game will feature all kinds of references from the franchise, including elements such as leveling up and abilities, and there‚Äôs a “Decoration” feature that will allow you to add other words to the one given to you in order to increase its power.

World Wide Words will launch September 16th for Android and sometime in the near future for iOS. (Note: the featured image is from Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy.)
