Sony to Refund European Players That Purchased Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PSN

Many European players couldn’t link their PSN account to their Square Enix one to play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn if they purchased the game on the PSN, so SCEE is taking action, according to a recent announcement on the Playstation Blog:

All customers that purchased the digital version of the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Standard Edition, or Collector’s Edition, from PlayStation Network on 27th or 28th August will receive a full refund and will be able to find the funds in their wallet as soon as this is processed. In addition, the entitlements of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Standard Edition or Collector’s Edition will be reset and the title will appear again in the download list.

While it seems that the launch of A Realm Reborn has been plagued with issues, at least one has been solved, which is always a good thing.
