Square Enix Unleashes Annual Report, 70 Pages of Data and Messages from Developers and Executives

Square Enix just released it’s annual report, but if you expect a boring list of numbers and tables, you’d be quite wrong.

There indeed are numbers and tables, but there’s also a lot more in the 70 pages long Bible. Not only you can find the vision for the future of the new President Yosuke Matsuda, but it also includes messages from prominent developers like Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida or Final Fantasy XV Co-Director Hajime Tabata, expressing their views and plans for their games and on the company.

It’s definitely an interesting read, and it’s quite refreshing to see a publisher giving voice to its developers in what would normally be a cold list of numbers. You can download the full thing here, while the most interesting part (at least for most), the “Creator’s Voice” section, can be downloaded on its own here.
