Square Enix released today a new batch of screenshots of its JRPG for PS4 and PS Vita Setsuna of Sacrifice and Snow (Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna), that will be published in Japan on February 18th.

We get to learn about the “Setsuna System,” that features a gauge that will progressively fill up with your actions. Once filled, pressing buttons with the right timing will trigger additional battle effects.

The popular “ATB” (Active Time Battle) system also makes a comeback, identifying this even more as a classic Square Enix JRPG. Once your characters’ individual ATB gauges fill up overtime, they can be given an action to perform. When more than one character has his gauge full, you can perform their actions in any order of your choosing.

We also get a glimpse on two new characters, the traveler Kuoon and the swordsman Yomi, both of whom have very strong reasons to keep the protagonist Setsuna safe.

You can check out the new screenshots below.
