Star Citizen Gets a New PreViz Video, and Teaser Artwork for the Origin 300i Interceptor

The development of Star Citizen is going smoothly, with the 10 million dollars goal reached and vastly overtaken, Cloud Imperium Games is continuing to create the universe we’ll be able to fly in next year.

Since the team is small, they outsourced part of the development to other studios, like Behaviour Interactive (that is also working on Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade) and Mark Day’s VoidALPHA.

Day was the producer of Wing Commander, so his involvement in Star Citizen is quite fitting. His studio produced a PreViz (Pre-Visualization, basically an animated storyboard) video of the landing approach to planet Terra (which is not Earth in the Star Citizen universe). You can see it at the bottom of the post.

On top of that, we also learn that the next spaceship brochure featuring the Origin 300i interceptor will be released on Friday. If you know what I’m talking about, you’ll probably be excited as I am. If you don’t, check the one they released for the Aurora and you will understand. In the meanwhile we got a piece of teaser artwork, that you can see at the top of this post. Beautiful, isn’t it?
