EA DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II was revealed just yesterday, but it's already getting a figure based on the Inferno Squadron, commanded by single player campaign protagonist Iden Versio.

The figure, produced by Hasbro as part of its Black Series, will be available exclusively at GameStop day and date with the game for $22.99.

In the wake of the Death Star's destruction, the Empire created the Inferno Squad to ensure that Imperial secrets would remain safe. What makes the story of Battlefront II and the Inferno Squadron most interesting, is that they will be part of the official canon. That's an intriguing decision considering how protective the Star Wars story team tends to be.
