Star Wars: Battlefront II Gets Plenty of Brand New Multiplayer Footage at E3 2017

During EA's presentation at E3 2017, plenty of new multiplayer footage was released showing the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront II in action.

With content coming from the entire Star Wars universe, Star Wars: Battlefront II aims to bring players into the ultimate recreation of Star Wars‘ most epic battles, with new multiplayer footage showing what’s in store for players this November in the explosive new sequel.

During EA’s press conference at EA Play 2017, EA shared an extensive look at Battlefront II‘s multiplayer live on stage with plenty of footage (via XCage on YouTube) of the multiplayer in action, including on the ground combat, air battles, and much, much more as played by a crew of on-stage gaming personalities and streamers.

Specifically, the footage gave a closer look at multiplayer combat on Naboo in the “Assault on Theed” mode. Set in a conflict between clone troopers and battle droids, the 15 minutes of includes footage from both sides as the droid team escorts a carrier safely to the other side of the map, while the opposing clone troopers must defend and stop their progress by whatever means necessary.

Star Wars: Battlefront II will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17th, 2017 – in the meantime, you can check out the game’s brand new multiplayer footage from E3 2017 below:
