Star Wars: Battlefront II Teaser Leaks Ahead of Star Wars Celebration

on April 11, 2017 10:00 PM

Leaks are never really expected, but the latest unconfirmed Star Wars Battlefront II trailer leak comes out of left field. Revealed only minutes ago by Vimeo user The Spicinberg shows a rather convincing 30 second clip of the game.

Star Wars Battlefront II‘s was first announced at Electronic Arts’ quarterly financial conference call, where they announced a bigger campaign spanning multiple eras. Notably, a single player campaign was confirmed — a point of derrision for those who played 2015’s Star Wars: Battlefront.

The first look of the new Battlefront game was supposed to go public within the week at Star Wars Celebration. So while the trailer is unconfirmed, there is a fair bet that this may be the real deal. Until it is confirmed, you can take the trailer with a grain of salt.

Those watching the trailer will notice Rey, Kylo Ren, Yoda and Darth Maul all getting their own cameos — lending credence to EA’s claim that the game will span multiple eras.

We also see what appears to be part of the single player story, probably featuring a female Imperial pilot after the events of Return of the Jedi.

Star Wars Battlefront II has no set release date or platform, but check out the rumored teaser (And a few screen captures, just in case the trailer gets nuked) below:
