Star Wars: The Old Republic Dev Blog Explains the Legacy System

on March 29, 2012 1:30 PM

Star Wars: The Old Republic update 1.2 “Legacy” is already on the public test server (and it’s quite awesome) and Senior Game Designer William Wallace screamed “Freedom!” today with a new dev blog featuring the upcoming Legacy system, that gives its name to the update.

Wallace explains the major ins and outs of the system, writing about some of the perks that this rather innovative form of progression will offer.

Class, Species, Ship and Companion unlocks are all covered in detail, ranging from the possibility of creating a Miralan Sith Warrior that kicks his enemies in the croch to the ability to finally turn our ship droid into something more than an overly talkative and bootlicking anoyance.

You can check out the full dev blog here.
