BioWare announced today that Star Wars: The Old Republic will kick off its free to play option starting on November the 15th.

From then on, everyone will be able to download and play the game for free with some limitations, that can be removed via the Cartel Market cash shop.

The developer also released a new video, featuring Senior Producer Blaine Christine as he explains some of the features included in the Cartel Market.

I don’t think “unique” means what he thinks it means, but you can watch the video for yourself below, and get ready for some free lightsaber brawling.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
