Much of geekdom love the Star Wars franchise as it is (a few movies and characters debatable), but leave it to Disney to make it genuinely cute and comedic. Disney Mobile and LucasArts are introducing Star Wars: Tiny Death Star a mobile game that tasks you with building a Death Star that you must maintain and upgrade to keep your empire in check.
This "Episode VIII-Bit" game seems to be full of humor and charm, while asking players to aid Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader with rebuilding the Death Star level by level. To fund this venture, the two will need to earn money and capture rebel spies, hire one of 30 unique species for various "dream jobs," create over 80 types of Star Wars-themed residential and commercial floors, craft special supplies, and unlock and enjoy entertaining story moments involving fan favorites like Han Solo, Chewie, Jabba the Hutt, and more.
