Coming off as one of the biggest XBLA titles to launch with the last generation of consoles, State of Decay is bringing its brand of zombie apocalypse horror to the current generation with the release of Year One Survival Edition this spring.
Microsoft and developer Undead Labs have announced that State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition will release for Xbox One and PC on April 28th, 2015, with the game to retail for $29.99 in both retail and digital editions.
As incentives for owners of the previous editions of State of Decay to make the upgrade to the new edition, owners of State of Decay on Xbox 360 will be eligible for a 33% discount (making the game $19.99) for those that accept the offer by June 30th, 2015, along with an exclusive new character that will be available to owners of the original game.
Expanding on the original State of Decay with updated 1080p visuals, improved animations, and more, the title will also bundle in the Lifeline and Breakdown DLC packs, every patch and update since the game’s release, and will also provide new vehicles, mission types, and other improvements from the original title.
