Stay in and Blow Something Up: The Twisted Metal Multiplayer Demo is Available Now

on January 31, 2012 5:15 PM

Log into the PlayStation Store and you’ll see that the multiplayer demo for next month’s Twisted Metal is up and running. The demo contains two game modes: a single-player exhibition and an online component. Players choose between a regular deathmatch and the title’s brand-new “nuke” mode should they opt to go online.

All four character factions are available, each led by a series mainstay. The single-player exhibition and training modes allow players to scope out the landscape of Sunsprings, California, which is the arena available for online play as well.

Should you choose to try things out alone before entering a regional fray, your character and vehicle settings remain as you left them so you don’t have to worry about tinkering around during matchmaking. The full retail version is due out  two weeks from now, just in time to blow things up with your sweetie on Valentine’s Day.
