Steam Has a Summer Sale? Pfft, So Does Direct2Drive!

To seemingly counter Steam’s amazeballs Summer Sale, forever 2nd-place digital distributors Direct2Drive are having a month-long  “Daily Deals” Summer Sale of their own, with different themes for each week.

This week? “Games Rated 8 or Higher”, which is pretty self-explanatory. Yesterday saw Mass Effect 2 on sale for $11.95, along with a few other greats, including Fallout 3: GOTY Edition for $9.85.

These sales don’t look to be as WTFOMGCRAZY as those on Steam, but they’re still amazing deals, and make me proud to be part of the gaming master race.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
