Today Valve released a new trailer of the upcoming Steam Link, that acts as a bridge between your PC and any TV, and that will be released this November.

The link allows you to play any Steam game on whatever TV within your home network, promising 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.

Of course your rig needs to be supporting that kind of frame rate and resolution to begin with, but that's the nature of the beast.

The Steam Link can be pre-ordered here, and as a very relevant note, the pre-order page "strongly" recommends a wired network.
