Steam Remote Download Feature Exits Beta, Now Available to All

The new Steam feature we just saw entering beta a few weeks ago has already made the jump to a full release. To the joy of gamers everywhere who are constantly not near their computer when a new game they’re waiting for releases, you can now install games on Steam when you’re away from your computer.

You can access this feature from the Steam website or the mobile app and the process will allow you to reinstall existing games as well as installing something for the first time. Very handy for those midnight launches for anybody who works the grave shift or for those trips away from home. Less time spent staring at a download screen for everyone!

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
