Steam Won’t Host Battlefield 3

As rumors surged the internet about the upcoming Battlefield 3 not being available on Steam, it turns out that this is actually true.

A report from Develop claims that internal relations have broken down to the point that not only is Crysis 2 no longer being sold on Steam, but that Battlefield 3 will also not appear on the juggernaut digital distribution program.

The title will be available through Gamestop’s digital download service, and of course through EA’s upcoming Origin.
