Steelers Win SuperBowl XLVAccording to a simulation in Madden NFL 11 run by EA Sports that is. The simulated game predicts that the Pittsburgh Steelers will win over the Green Bay Packers 24-20. They simulated the entire season the same way earlier this year and correctly predicted the Green Bay Packers as coming up winning the NFC division and they say that six out of the seven previous Super Bowls have been correctly predicted by Madden NFL games.

Super Bowl XXXVIII – Patriots 23, Panthers 20
Actual Score: Patriots 32, Panthers 29
Super Bowl XXXIX – Patriots 47, Eagles 31
Actual score: Patriots 24, Eagles 21
Super Bowl XL – Steelers 24, Seahawks 19
Actual score: Steelers 21, Seahawks 10
Super Bowl XLI – Colts 38, Bears 27
Actual score: Colts 29, Bears 17
Super Bowl XLIII – Steelers 28, Cardinals 24
Actual score: Steelers 27, Cardinals 23
Super Bowl XLIV – Saints 35, Colts 31
Actual score: Saints 31, Colts 17

So there you go. No need to watch the game anymore, just drink beer and play Madden 11 all day instead. Or you can follow my example and not watch the game anyways, don’t play Madden and just do the “drink beer” part. The choice is yours.

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
