If there is one character that could be easily be defined a poster girl for visual novel, that’d probably be Kurisu Makise from Steins;Gate, and that’s pretty much exactly what 5pb. just did.

They released a TV commercial of the upcoming visual novel YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World, and basically half of it show Kurisu Makise (who has no direct connection with the game) making an introduction.

YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World is the remake of an ancient visual novel that was released in 1996 for NEC PC-98, followed by Sega Saturn and PC (the classic version will actuallyu be included in the package as a first print bonus).

It will release in Japan for PS4 and PS Vita on March 16th, and will soon receive an anime series as well, in collaboration with Sword Art Online Production Company Genco, animated by Feeel Animation Studio of Nagasarete Airantou fame.

At the moment there is no western localization announced, but you can watch the commercial below, and check out a more extensive trailer here.
