Today Arika revealed a new character coming back from Street Fighter EX and appearing in its yet untitled fighting game for PS4.

The character is Allen Snider, the American freestyle karate fighter. In his Street Fighter EX story he was a favored competitor at the All American Martial Arts Tournament, but was defeated in his first match by Ken Masters, who called him a “frog in the well.”  That caused him to renew his efforts and study new techniques to “jump out of the well.”

He joins a cast of returning characters from the Street Fighter EX series revealed at Evo 2017, including Shirase, Skullomania, Garuda, Darun Mister and Kairi.

Unfortunately, this is just a teaser, adn we don’t get to see much of Allen, besides some rather snazzy artwork, and a look at his 3D model from the rear.

You can check out the trailer below, while we wait for more information about the game, including its title. If you want to see more, you can check out a long gameplay video from July, a large gallery of screenshots, and the gameplay trailer showcased at EVO.

For now we know that it’s a PS4 exclusive, and a beta will be held by the end of the year, with full release scheduled for 2018.
