Today inFAMOUS Brand Development Director Ken Schramm was in Taiwan at Taipei Game Show, and after a stage event to introduce inFAMOUS: Second Son, he answered to a few question from the Taiwanese media, as reported by Game Watch.

Shramm repeated multiple times that inFAMOUS: Second Son “could only be done on PS4, ” moving on to explain that the vast field of view, the dynamic destruction of environmental items, the variety of effects, the realistic light sources, the finesse of the expression of characters and the AI of the NPC characters contribute to a level of fidelity that would simply be impossible without the PS4. Those elements could not appear in the previous games on PS3.

Multiple sources also reported that during the demo showcased at the stage event, the crowd of attendees gathered in front of the stage cheered and applauded as strings of spectacular super-powered combos were executed on the screen, especially when the “Karma Bomb” ability was used. The audience definitely appeared to be captivated by the upcoming PS4 exclusive.

From what we’ve seen and played so far, it’s easy to understand them. inFAMOUS: Second Son definitely promises to be a spectacular game. We’ll finally get our hands on it ourselves on March 21st.
