Super Mario Maker is about to get a taste of Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam beginning December 3. According to a new tweet from Nintendo Europe, the Mario building title will be getting a new event mode, allowing players to unlock the Paper Jam Bros. team, a sprite combination of Mario, Luigi, and Paper Mario. There is no indication whether the costume will have any special properties.

Much like the Frog Suit update, on December 3rd players can check the "Event Courses" in "Course World" and completion will award them the costume. This is clearly a promotion for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam which is slated for release for Nintendo 3Ds on December 3rd in Japan (date of the Event), December 4th in Europe, December 10th in Australia, and January 22nd in North America. With that said, the Event course should be available worldwide on December 3rd, despite the tiered launch schedule.
