Super Mario Odyssey Nabs New Details, Screenshots, and Artwork

on January 13, 2017 1:03 AM

The newly announced Super Mario Odyssey may not be coming until Holiday 2017, but some more details are surfacing in the wake of Nintendo Switch’s Tokyo Livestream.

The most prominent detail is that Super Mario Odyssey is noted as a single player-only experience — this would make sense, given the game follows in the footprints of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.

As noted above, Super Mario Odyssey launches on Nintendo Switch sometime Holiday 2017 — there is still no price point yet.

The press release sent fresh from Nintendo’s PR machine came with plenty of official screenshots and artwork, and you can check them out below.

In case you missed it, don’t forget to watch the reveal trailer.
