Super Meat Boy Nets Super Sales

Indie puzzler Super Meat Boy and debut title of Team Meat has recently cleared 600,000 units sold. This is not only an astounding feat for an indie title, but also for a game that is only available on two platforms. The combined sales for the PC and Xbox 360 versions total over 600,000.

Also of note, two-thirds of the sales are of the PC version with the Xbox 360 version moving 200,000. This news echoes yesterday’s reveal that indie PC entry Minecraft had moved nearly two million units and made quite a sum of money. I can only imagine how Super Meat Boy will sell when it eventually or inevitably hits the PS3.
