Indie darling Super Meat Boy finally has a release date for Wii U, nearly two months following BlitWorks studio’s announcement of the upcoming port. According to BlitWorks and Team Meat, Super Meat Boy will be heading to Wii U’s eShop on May 12th — alongside a sale.

Super Meat Boy for Wii U will support both the Wii U Pro Controller and Off-TV play — both necessities for the twitch-based platforming title. The Super Meat Boy sale will go for two weeks following the game’s launch — however, there are no official details regarding what the price will be.
