The Wii U is just on the verge of getting a big influx of new games this holiday season, but with Nintendo adding quite a few notable Wii titles to its stable of discounted Nintendo Selects games, you might just want to stock up on your Wii library next month.

In a press release from Nintendo, the Nintendo Selects program (a greatest hits collection of bestselling Wii titles sold at a discount) will be adding four new titles to its selection of vintage Wii titles - Mario Kart Wii, PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl - on October 18th. While prices for the titles weren't officially confirmed in Nintendo's press release, most previous titles in the Nintendo Selects program have fallen into the $19.99 - $29.99 price range, so it can probably be expected that this will be the case for these new entries as well.

Sure you may be getting a remade Zelda and new Donkey Kong and Mario games this holiday, but why not spend some time with a few old classics this October?
