Since its launch in May 2014, Supergiant Games' Transistor, the follow-up title to the studio's wildly-successful Bastion, has been seeing remarkable sales and acclaim for its unique artwork and gameplay, with many taking notice according to the game's sales.

In a new blog post from Supergiant Games' Greg Kasavin, the studio has reported that since its debut last year, Transistor has sold over 600,000 copies across both PC and PS4, with Supergiant reporting that game is "selling even faster relative to Bastion during the first couple of months after its launch," which the studio credits to strong word-of-mouth.

Alongside the sales numbers reported for the game, Supergiant also provided in its blog post a list of accolades and nominations that the title has received during the year-end collections of "Game of the Year" nominations, with the title overall nabbing 70+ nominations or mentions for Game of the Year: in our latest episode of the ShockCast, I included the title within my top five games of the year, and it definitely deserves the accolades.

Transistor is available now on PS4 and PC.
