Superhot was a Kickstarter from June of 2014 that successfully raised $250,000 to fund a time dilation shooter, where the world stops when you stop, and time only progresses when you move. A beta version has been released to Kickstarter backers who pledged $40 or more, and the Superhot team has released a look at the beta’s gameplay on YouTube. The team also encourages feedback,

Take your time and enjoy it! And once you’re done, let us know if you liked it! Either by sending us an email, tweeting or on the secret backer forum. Also, feel free to post screenshots / videos of the beta if you’d like to, we’re cool with that.

Superhot will be coming to PC and Xbox One. The developers did not want to sell the beta on Steam Early Access, stating, “We’re a bit shy to release an unfinished game, but were doing it exclusively for you! There is no way to ‘buy into’ the beta.”
