Surf World Series Gets August Release Dates and Free Demo on All Platforms

Surf World Series will be releasing on PS4 August 29 and on PC and Xbox One August 30, but you can get a small taste of the game beforehand with a new demo.

Climax Studios and Vision Games Publishing have finally dropped some new information regarding Surf World Series, stating that the title will be releasing for $14.99 on PS4 August 29, and on August 30 for Xbox One and PC. In addition to this announcement, a free demo has also dropped on consoles, and will be launching on PC later this week.

For those who don’t know, Surf World Series is an arcade-style surfing game set across five different popular surfing shorelines, including Bell’s Beach, Australia and Waimea Bay, Hawaii, where players can pull off increasingly more difficult tricks such as kickflips and cutbacks. Each environment is can also be played at and different times of day and with different weather variations to spice things up.

There are 44 single player challenges for players to make their way through and three online modes: Big Heat Battle, Championship and Survival. Surf World Series also features a deep leveling and unlock system that allows players to customize the six playable character and make them their own. You can currently download the demo for both PS4 and Xbox One to get a small taste of all of these features.
