SXSW Gaming Awards 2016 Nominees Revealed; The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Leads with 8 Nods

2015 is a thing of the past now, but with an incredibly diverse year of games on offer, the annual Gaming Awards from the SXSW Festival have revealed their nominations for 2016, with many of the year’s biggest games leading in award nominations like The Witcher 3: Wild HuntUndertale, and more.

The annual SXSW Festival, which brings together the worlds of music, film, and the interactive arts, revealed their full list of nominees for the group’s SXSW Gaming Awards 2016, with a wide range of nominations ranging from this year’s mega blockbusters like The Witcher 3: Wild HuntBloodborne, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, to finalists from the indie world including UndertaleOri and the Blind Forest, and many more.

The SXSW Gaming Awards 2016 will be presented on Saturday, March 19th, 2016 in Austin, Texas as part of the SXSW Festival 2016, which runs from March 11th – 20th, 2016. The ceremony is free and open to the public, with eSports host Rachel “Seltzer” Quirico & YouTube personality Séan “Jacksepticeye” William McLoughlin hosting the ceremony – the full list of nominees for this year’s awards are below:
