Taiwan is not Living la Vita Loca

See what I did there? This interesting bit of news comes our way from Taiwan. Rainie Yang, Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan’s new spokeswoman and local celebrity over there has been causing quite some trouble.

As part of a press conference announcing the PS Vita, when asked her favorite Playstation game, her answer was “Super Mario Bros”. Remember that port on the PS1? No? Me neither.

Worse, when she realized that she may have said something wrong, she proceeded to pose with the Vita to redirect the attention on the product. Except she held it upside down, as you can see in our header picture. Sony has a bit of a PR mess on their hands, it seems.

Isshak started gaming with the NES, and has owned almost every console since then. He was born in Togo, grew up in Benin, studied in the US and now goes to college in France! You don't get more international than that, and his weird cultural background is reflected in his favorite games, which range from Final Fantasy to Bit Trip Runner to Dead Space to Deus Ex!
