How many days until June 2nd? While the wait may seem like a lifetime away, some glorious screenshots were released of Batman: Arkham Knight to wet fans appetite.

In the screenshots which were originally posted on the Russian website ConsoleLife, they offer a closer look at the mysterious well-armored Arkham Knight.

While much is not known about this new character, he is expected to battle Batman throughout the game, as seen in the screenshots below.

In addition to this new character, the Batmobile will be front and center as players will need to drive it around Gotham City to complete the game's many tasks.

Batman: Arkham Knight will release on June 2nd for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
