Today, Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Tales of Berseria titled The Calamity and the Blade.
The new trailer follows Velvet Crowe, the series’ first solo female protagonist, as she exacts her unforgiving revenge upon the people who have wronged her.
Tales of Berseria is set to release for PS4 January 24, 2017 (January 27th in Europe) and January 26, 2017 for PC via Steam. Additionally, a demo of the game will be available to download on both PS4 and PC on January 10th. As for the content of the demo: last week on Steam, the game's community manager revealed it will be exactly the same as the Japanese demo, only with western localization (thanks Kite).
As previously reported, Tales of Berseria is available to preorder on Steam, and for those who own Tales of Symphonia or Tales of Zestiria already on the platform, a 10% discount is on offer, as well as the unlock of a 15 minute skit video available outside the game.
If you preorder a PS4, you will receive the following:
- Tales of Berseria theme illustrated by ufotable
- 15 minute exclusive dramatic chat skit hosted by Bienfu with Velvet and the complete cast discussing a plethora of topics about the TALES OFseries
- Mini music selection from Tales of Berseria
