Tales of Berseria Heroine Velvet Mysteriously Appears in Tales of Zestiria the X Anime’s Opening

on July 4, 2016 1:23 AM

We have known for a while that the upcoming Tales of Berseria is set in the same world as Tales of Zestiria, and to be precise in the distant past. Looks like the anime Tales of Zestiria the X, that started airing yesterday in Japan, might reveal more of the connection between the two games.

The series’ opening song, showcased at the end of the first episode, features Tales of Berseria‘s protagonist Velvet prominently in two different scenes, at the very beginning and towards the end.

You can check out a video below, courtesy of YouTube user EmiruTheKnight. Velvet appears ten seconds from the beginning of the video and at the 01:12 mark.

It’ll certainly be interesting to see how she will be featured in the anime, since the two games aren’t even close to be set in a similar time frame despite being set in the same world.
