Tales of Phantasia Coming to PSP a Second Time

Tales of Phantasia was originally an SNES RPG released close to 15 years ago. It has been remade once already for the PSP, but us here in Western nations were never fortunate enough to see it on our store shelves. Now Namco-Bandai is creating a second remake of that classic Tales game, also for the PSP. This time things are slightly different, however. The remake will include the sequel to the original game, Narikiri Dungeon, both together on the same UMD (or downloaded file, whatever floats your boat). The game even has an official site up now, where you can get music samples and some very basic (almost nonexistent) information about this version of the title. I’m unsure if this iteration will actually be released outside of Japan, either, but here’s hoping!

He's a huge fan of iconic games like Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VI and Persona 4 yet enjoys the smaller niche titles, as well. In his spare time he enjoys experiencing new beer, new foods and keeping up with just about every sci-fi show on television.
