That's right, you can now pick up what is widely proclaimed as one of this generation's best JRPGs without leaving the comfort of your humble abode. There are a couple interesting things to note about Tales of Vesperia hitting Xbox Live Games on Demand. First off, this is a JRPG that is actually pretty hard to come by these days. Most niche JRPGs tend to become fairly rare over time, and this is no exception. If you can find it new, you're good, but you're typically looking at dropping $30-$40 on this game used. You can grab it on demand for $29.99, which is actually a pretty great deal, as opposed to most digitally purchased non-XBLA titles on Microsoft's console.

The second thing is the quirky chain of events we've seen in the last couple days (not to mention the tricks Namco Bandai played on our minds a few months back). There is a hint of a Tales of Vesperia logo in one of those images they showed off back then (hit the break to see it again). Also of note is yesterday's news about the Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike anime being picked up for North American localization. What does this tell me? That they might be about ready to announce - FINALLY - the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia coming across the Pacific. Fingers crossed, peoples!
