Tales of Xillia’s Mysterious Girl May Be Voiced By Ranma

Only one character, between the main cast of the upcoming PS3 JRPG Tales of Xillia, hasn’t been fully revealed yet: the white-haired girl on the top left of the cover art.

According to Game Jouhou she will be under the spotlight in the upcoming issue of Shonen Jump. Her name is Cyan Rem, and she is supposedly in a close relationship with Jude, the male lead.

An interesting tidbit for the Japanophiles between our readers is that, according to the source, Cyan will be voiced by Megumi Hayashibara, basically a legend in the Japanese voice acting field, having lent her voices to iconic anime characters like Ranma Saotome and Rei Ayanami.

The Tales series has always been a favorite between anime fans due to the beautiful animated cutscenes and the lovely character design by Kosuke Fujishima and Mutsumi Inomata (Tales of Xillia is the first game on which the two Chara Design legends worked together). The inclusion of the voice actress that can be identified as the most adored between the Otaku fandom could easily complete that picture.

Now, the only thing that we need is an announcement for the western release of the game, possibly wit the Japanese audio track included. Thank you very much.
