Earlier this month, eager fans of Mortal Kombat X got their hands on the first lethal new addition to the Mortal Kombat roster with Jason Voorhees, and now those with a bloodthirst will get to see the return of an old favorite within the coming weeks.
Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon confirmed in a tweet (a tweetified poem, no less) that Tanya will be “koming soon” to Mortal Kombat X sometime in early June, after responding to a fan question regarding her release. Tanya is the second of the four characters included in the “Kombat Pack” for Mortal Kombat X, which also includes the previously-released Jason Voorhees, and upcoming fighters Tremor and the Predator.
While no specific release date was mentioned just quite yet (even by Boon, who loves to tease through Twitter), we’re only just a few days away from June so expect to see Tanya much sooner, rather than later.
Mortal Kombat X is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android – the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the title are scheduled to release later this year.
