The Walt Disney Company announced today that Tapulous, the developer behind iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch music games, such as Tap Tap Revenge, now has become the newest member of Disney Interactive Media Group.

Tapulous is one of the leading mobile games developer, and it's highly known mobile game, Tap Tap Revenge, has been installed on more than 30% of iPhone/iPod Touch users, and still remains as one of the most successful gaming franchises on the iPhone platform.

Tapulous founders, Bart Decrem and Andrew Lacy, now take on the leadership roles for DIMG mobile group, with Decrem reporting to DIMG President Steve Wadsworth.

In the last year, there has been a number of successes in the mobile business with several "platinum" performing applications with 1 million plus downloads, including Disney's Alice in Wonderland Lite, Fairies Fly Lite and JellyCar 2, which is the most successful premium game in the App Store put out by Disney.
