Techland Releases 20 Minutes of Hellraid Footage Running on Chrome Engine 6

Techland has released over 20 minutes of gameplay footage of their upcoming game Hellraid. Being described as a mix of the best things from Dead Island and The Elder Scrolls, while being a sort of spiritual successor to Hexen and Witchaven, the game sure does look like beautiful exploratory RPG game.

That beauty is most likely influenced by the use of Techland’s proprietary game engine, Chrome Engine 6, that is also being used to develop Dying Light. Hellraid was delayed back in May to switch development over to the new engine and it looks like it is paying off in spades.

You can watch the full 20 minutes of skeleton smashing action below. Hellraid is coming to PS4 and Xbox One sometime in 2015 and will becoming to PC via Steam Early Access sometime this fall.
