Bandai Namco Entertainment announced during San Diego Comic-Con that it will be teaming up with renowned artists to create in-game character panels for Tekken 7, which will release as free DLC sometime in September this year.

Mexican-American cartoon and graffiti artist Mister Cartoon, San Francisco-based street artist and graphic designer Jeremy Fish, and provocative artist Ron English, are among the artists who will be collaborating. The sample of their artwork can be seen in the featured image.

The free DLC will be available for all platforms and we will continue to provide updates as they are presented. Bandai Namco has been announcing new DLC with the most recent character addition being Geese Howard of Fatal Fury fame.

As far as sales for Tekken 7 are concerned, the fighter was one of the biggest drivers of retail sales in the US for the month of June 2017, according to the latest NPD Group report. The game topped software charts, making June the second consecutive month in which a newly released fighter topped the charts. with Injustice 2 having been previously number one.
