During the livestream of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015 Tekken 7 Director and Producer Katsuhiro Harada announced an upcoming major update for the game titled "Fated Retribution," which will bring new characters, costumes and a graphics overhaul.

Interestingly, it will come with an unexpected new character, Akuma from Street Fighter. You can see him in a few snapshots above and below, the key art, and the reveal trailer (which also showcases the visual update).

Akuma isn't just a guest character. According to Harada-san, he will become deeply involved in the Tekken storyline.
