Tekken Movie in 2010

The trailer for the big screen adaptation of Tekken has now gone online. After watching the trailer, it would appear that it is some kind of gladiatorial-esque tournament, with Jin as the protagonist. I didn’t recognize any specific actors, and the entire thing looked and felt kinda cheesy. Cheesy is fine by me because some of my favorite films are B movies, and this looks the part. At the helm is director Dwight Little, whose film, Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid was surprisingly shunted for an Oscar. I bet he’ll be looking to really impress those critics with this new masterpiece of his. Although I am picking on Mr. Little, I can say that I am extremely happy that Uwe Boll is not directing this.

As an aside to my fellow MMA fans, note the 2 professional fighters appearing in the trailer. One is Cung Le, right at the 50 second mark and UFC veteran, Roger Huerta, at the 1.13 mark.

Currently going to school in Indiana so when Drew isn't studying, you can find him playing games. Though he is typically playing games from this current generation, he'll still bust out classic consoles for a night of nostalgic gaming. If he is not studying or gaming, he is usually out working on his photography. Thinks sleep is for the weak. Favorite Games: Metal Gear Solid, Mega Man 2, Goldeneye
