Tekken Tag Tournament 2’s Pre-order Bonus Grants Early Access to Certain Characters

Namco won plenty of praise by revealing that they wouldn’t be selling DLC characters for the upcoming fighter Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and effectively bucking the genre trend. They’ll also be doing something rather unusual for their pre-order bonus. Sources are reporting that pre-ordering  the game will grant players early access to some of the games characters, thereby making the characters exclusive to early adopters for a limited time.

Once that limited time is up, the content will become accessible to all players for the low low price of free. Whichever characters the bonus will include will have to be pretty popular to coax people into smacking down the early dough. Hopefully this method will prove effective for Namco; I’d say they deserve it compared to Cashcom. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be available this September.
