A new retail listing by GameStop suggests that Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will release April 25, 2017. The listing prices the game at $29.99 USD, which means it is likely for the game's season pass. And going off the traditional Telltale model of releasing games, this means the first episode will launch on April 25th, alongside the game's season pass which gets you access to all of the game's following episodes.

The listing also provides new story details via the following overview:

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series delivers a brand new story of the universe's unlikeliest heroes, the rag-tag band of outlaws who go by the names Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of the Guardians has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands. From Earth to the Milano to Knowhere and beyond, and set to the beat of awesome music, this five-part episodic series puts you in the rocket-powered boots of Star-Lord in an original Guardians adventure, told in the unique and award-winning Telltale style, where your decisions and actions will drive the path of the story you experience.

As always, these kind of listings should be taken with a grain of salt.

In case you missed it, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series was announced during The Game Awards 2016. Officially, the game has only been announced for release sometime in 2017 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and mobile devices.
