Terra Battle Celebrates 1.8 Million Downloads with Fantastic New Song: Console Game Draws Near

on April 6, 2015 6:36 PM

Today Mistwalker announced that the lovely mobile strategy RPG Terra Battle achieved over 1.8 million downloads.

To celebrate the milestone, a new Song was recorded, by Xenogears and Chrono Trigger composer Yasunori Mitsuda. It’s absolutely lovely, and you can listen to it in the video at the bottom of the post.

Console fans also have reason to celebrate, as this achievement brings us closer to the two million magic number. Hironobu Sakaguchi himself has pledged that achieving that milestone will trigger the production of a console-based Terra Battle online RPG.

Looks like the return to consoles of the father of Final Fantasy is getting closer and closer. Incidentally, if you still haven’t downloaded Terra Battle, you really should. It’s awesome, and you know it takes a lot for me to say that of a mobile game.
